Stayed in this hotel in may ,Ramada Limited hotel in Jersey City - Walk to Path station journal square se the whole walk and se the area. The hotel is about 7 minutes from the PATH station on Journal Sq. It costs .75 and takes some 15-20 minutes to get to Manhattan (WTC or Penn Station) from there, so considering that Manhattan hotels of this category offer less for almost double the price, this is certainly a very good option for limited budgets. This hotel also includes a complimentary breakfast, cereals, muffins, pancakes, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and the beds are great. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean and equiped with dryer and shampoo, soap, etc. If you choose this hotel, try flying to Newark, since they also offer complimentary shuttle service, which we couldn’t use, because we were flying to and from JFK. Still, if so, take a taxi from JFK for a flat rate of +tolls (cca. total) to PATH station on E 33rd St. and take a train from there to Journal Sq. Wifi is free to use if you have you’re own laptop.
